HATRED IS TAUGHT, LOVE IS NATURAL

|| HATRED IS TAUGHT, LOVE IS NATURAL ||

It is said that the best and most beautiful things in this world cannot be seen or even heard but must be felt. That's love. Just think that rivers do not drink their water, trees do not eat their fruits, the sun does not shine on itself and flowers do not spread their fragrance for themselves. Living for others with love is a rule of nature. We are all born surrounded by nature and like nature, to help each other, no matter how difficult it is. Life is good and beautiful when we are happy but it becomes better and more beautiful when we see that others are happy because of us. If we see the changing colors of leaves, flowers, the sky or the environment, we find it so beautiful! Likewise, if we change the colors of life with love and happiness, life will become more meaningful. Love is a natural ingredient in us, we just need to learn to spread it naturally like nature.

If you read stories of Krishna, you'll find that Krishna was passionate about love. His uncle Kansa was born in this universe like Krishna but he used his power (his ego) and got carried away by the devils of his kingdom. It engraved in his mind that Krishna will kill him and his power will vanish. Though he sent so many devils to kill Krishna, with his mesmerizing skills, Krishna made every devil listen to him. Through this episode of the win over devils, it did show Krishna's love and kindness but Kansa was taught hatred for Krishna so he could never see the love by Krishna for him or by others. Similarly, if someone says something bad about someone, however nice the person might be, just because we have learned hatred for that person, we don't try to see goodness in them. Krishna did lift Govardhana Parvata on one finger but when he plays his melodious Basuri, he holds it with both his hands with love and care. A follower of Krishna should understand the difference between fight and love or hate and love.

In today's fast-paced world, I don't know if we can find ever that depth. Love has become superficial and the language of just goody talk. When you think of the depth of love then there are no conditions for love and there is no end to its depth. Today, we remember Radha-Krishna only because of their depth of love. They were only two souls who had the depth of the seven colors of life in their hearts. Full of secrets of love for each other, truthful with each other and for each other, sad to be apart from each other, faith in their love, willingness to sacrifice their lives for the other's happiness, respect for each other, and kindness in their hearts and that too, in a natural manner. Do we find any such colors in our hearts any more? Another valuable love in this universe is that of a mother and her child, which is just natural. Today, even in that love, we learn that majority of the kids don't take care of their mothers so even if some kids try to take care of their mother, it is not acceptable. Like any social media promotion, love is also measured and learned on social media platforms.

I recently experienced one of my deaf stars about to get married. He found himself a girl but he and his mother had so much faith in me that without showing me girl, they didn't want to confirm the engagement. As I was out of town, they waited for me. Once I approved the girl, they got engaged. When he got married, in the sangeet, I reached first. They showed my first recorded speech, invited me on stage, gave me respect and both kids took my blessings! Even during their wedding ceremony, they waited for my blessings. I thought to myself that I'm not any guru or priest or any big celebrity. Whatever I did, I did as a professional but their unconditional love for me gave me so much positivity and inspired me to do more and more work for deaf people. Just helping him to change his life and showing him the correct path got me so many blessings. This kind of love, nowadays, is rarely seen.

In this "selfie" and materialistic world, where people learn that those who work hard and silent are invisible and those who show off even if they don't work, it is appreciated. We are just going with the flow without understanding what is good and what is bad for us. Today, we even fight for religion and rituals to show off. This universe is one, the earth is one and the world is one. The human is one of the creatures which has a functional brain and that is taught to hate other religions and learn only one religion. Why don't we understand that before becoming a Sikh or a Muslim, a Hindu or a Christian, let's become a human first! That will only be only possible if we follow the path of love and start respecting each other.

Rather than scrutinizing every human by their religion/country/city/village/profession/attitude/money or other parameters, if we start seeking for the well-being of others, the whole perspective or meaning of life will change. We need to come out of such learning that created hatred in our hearts and instead concentrates on helping lives around us who need mental strength, educational or financial help. Slowly the natural drops of love will become a big ocean of love where only positivity will exist.

I feel that life is short. You need to spend it with people who make you laugh and feel loved. It is only possible if every individual will follow a path of love and understand that love is not felt for beauty rather, those who get love from you become beautiful. The way you plant a seed with care and love, you grow it to become a beautiful plant or tree; the same way, planting the seed of love in every human and handling it with each other's care will make this universe beautiful. So let's learn to love each other as natural nature.
