 || Contributions of different colors in life ||

I read in one of the books that "your talent is God's gift for you, what you do with it is your gift back to God." It is like earlier we were only able to see black and white movies now we have so many colors added into it. Creativity is at its peak. In the same way, life given by God is black and white now how we add colors in that is in our hands. Colors may be of different skills, emotions or feelings, or even thoughts, but how well we create it is in our hands. In Japan, there is a restaurant which makes Sushi of different kinds for the last 80 years. This restaurant is famous for its quality and the colors of Sushi added to it. The flavor and the taste of this Sushi remain the same but the honor of this restaurant works on making different colors to make it look more beautiful without affecting the quality. Someone asked the concerned person, Don't you get bored doing the same thing for so many years and how efficiently are you working on a higher scale? He said, I use my skills and thought process everyday to improve on my skills of making it and I add different colors everyday into it because my focus is totally on making it look different and colorful. So instead of being boring, it is a new challenge every day for me, and I plan for it. So to contribute to adding colors in our own life you need to be organized, and skillful to plan.

In Pushtimargiya, when you go to the temple, in a day you get to darshan Lord Krishna 8 times. The way rituals are guided by Mahaprabhuji is that in a day you get to see all 8 darshans with different thoughts, feelings, and colors of the life of Lord Krishna. In these 8 darshans every day we can witness every color of the life of Krishna, be it love of Yashoda for Krishna, love of Radha for Krishna, or all the love of Gavalas and Gopis towards Krishna. Darshan starts with Mangala where mother Yashoda calls to wake up Lord Krishna with love, his emotions of a small child then Yashoda makes him ready with different Shringar everyday, so there is Shringar darshan. Then Lord Krishna goes to Cows to gaze at them in the forest with his Gavala friends, so there is Gavala darshan. Then the time comes when Lord Krishna sits to eat food with his friends everyday given by their mothers,  they share among each other, so we get Rajbhog darshan. Then after taking a small nap and resting for a while he goes to spend time with Radha and there he plays melodious Flute (Bansuri) so its called Uthapan darshan. After this Lord Krishna shares dry fruits given by gopis and makes his way back to home calls Bhog darshan. Once he goes back home mother Yashoda happily welcomes him with an Aarti called Aarti darshan and then he spends time with his parents and having dinner its Shayan darshan. These colors of emotions and bhav of different activities of Lord Krishna we feel everyday with different colors and it's planned in such a way that everyday it is different and pleasant. You never get bored or feel the same.

Learning from Lord Krishna's life and the rituals done in all Krishna's temples depict that if colors of life are added everyday then nothing sounds boring or monotonous. You have each and every day to celebrate life in different ways. Infact Lord Krishna celebrated Holi with colors with all his friends and devotees for almost more than a month. The scene of celebration feels like Lord is there with all the devotees to celebrate the feeling of love. I believe those colors used during Holi generate energy that God is among us. Apart from that Lord Krishna's rituals done in all the temples suggest that you have whole day to celebrate with parents, friends, work, and all your loved ones. It is only up to you how you add colors to it. Just take a simple example of the mother who wakes her child everyday and then cooks different dishes for the child so that he/she enjoys to the best. Mother's effort here is to make the child eat nutritious food, and she does it every day but she also makes it look more beautiful and present in such a way that child cannot refuse at least to try. So its just up to us how we make different colors contribute to our life. I feel where God is around there can never be a shortage of colors of love.

In India not only the temples of Lord Krishna but everywhere whether its a Jain temple, a Gurudwara, a Church, or a Mosque, we all go to Pilgrimage as many times as we want. We see colors of peace and love every time we visit there. Do you feel bored going to these places? No, never, every time you see a devotee praying there with different emotions and feelings. The devotees also see that how best food or other things they do their best for God. All the devotees get a very different kind of positive energy when they visit there. I literally enjoy seeing all the devotees of the temple who work in the temple, or who come to pray in the temple. All of them release so many colors of life at one place but take away only colors of love. Those who come with colors of faith and hope, they carry love and only love with them. Those who have doubts, anxiety, worry, or guilt will only find fault in what they do, they can never get satisfied in life with whatever they have.

While working with hearing-impaired children I have observed that colors in life are only added, due to their wishes and blessings for us. Earlier their life was just black and white. Though they had intelligent mind but since there were no remedies available, their growth was limited. Their continuous persuation to grow has made us do inventions in science for them. Today technology has made revolution for them and indirectly for us as well. But for them, it comes as a boon and they are using it in the right direction to make their own growth, what are we doing? with the help of technology using it for good and some for bad things. These colors of technology have been used in such a manner that a recent report of WHO says there will be 1.1 billion or per 2 person 1 person specially youngster will have hearing loss by 2030. Just think about our contribution to technology in this universe? Where it is taking us? I think we have to learn from the hearing-impaired children's thought process to change only for good as each day comes with new possibilities, hope, and miracles.

Recently, we had organized a sports event for hearing-impaired children on World Hearing Day. It was their second day of school but they were so enthusiastic to participate. We gave them different colors of t-shirts to differentiate them as playing under 10,12,14, and 16 years of age. Every child immediately wore the t-shirt without any questions. They knew how much effort we have put in to make them look colorful. We did an opening ceremony with them and with colorful smiling balloons. They also made heart with their fingers to celebrate love. You can't believe it with lovely wishes we left the balloons in the air and it reached so high in the sky as Lord was waiting to receive to get their smiles in the air. I felt as if the miracle was happening.

In our country, India, we have the contribution of colors in the form of temples, mosques, Gurudwaras, and Churches. We have so many colors of religion and languages. We have so many beautiful and colorful places to visit. Our religion contributes so many colorful attires. So many colorful recipes are available to celebrate together. Even if we spend little time everyday observing it with skills and potential and try to share with our friends and families, we will only have time to spread colors of happiness. We don't need any agenda, worry, doubts, or guilt for not doing anything.

Let's contribute to each other in the universe with our colorful thoughts which I just saw in this small little film. How simply it highlights the color of our originality by saying "you are beautiful just the way you are." Acknowledging the emotion of happiness by saying, "you look cutest when you smile, and the happier you are more beautiful you become." The Colour of self-confidence is expressed through "You are just an icon of a true beauty, and you look stunning no matter what you wear." Spreading the color of Love by saying "Be happy for this moment. This moment is your life. Your smile could be the reason for someone's happiness." The color of positivity was shared by saying, "No more negative self-talk, you're doing amazing. With this, I believe we should now only think to contribute happiness so in return it gives us only happiness.
