|| Satisfy your Soul ||
According to one of the authors, "the desire to know your own soul will terminate all your ambitions." How true can it be? Is it possible for us to be satisfied with our current status or what we have? A common man who works hard, completes his education in a good high school and then in a good college with the assistance of his parents' desires, then aspires to further his education either in India or abroad. Once this goal is attained, the individual wants a good job, followed by a good life partner, a good home, children, and then fame. He also wants to see as much of the world as possible and to be respected by others. Aside from his personal aspirations to be with his loved ones, he has various social obligations and wants to be respected by his family, community, or nation. The desires continue to develop and have no end in sight. There is no way any human being can say, "Oh! In this rapidly developing world, where we are witnessing a massive scientific revolution, I have no desires and I am content with what I have." Any human being's burning needs can never fulfil their individual soul.
Two wonderful souls of this universe are Radha and Krishna. They used to love each other for all eternity, and even after all these years, we can still feel their love in our hearts. Despite the intensity of their yearning for one another, they were such contented souls that it had little effect on their own desires. It has been proven over time that those who think beyond eternity can satisfy their souls. They consider themselves to be modest and possess a level of intelligence unmatched by anybody. Higher intelligent souls hold the belief that God created humans with a purpose in mind. Simply imagine: why was one born a human? Why not a dog? Or an elephant? Or a seagull? You were given a brain, and it is your responsibility to use it to think, change, and improve the world. There have been gods, goddesses, and demons on our planet throughout history. Despite being completely human, how could they still distinguish between God and the devil? I don't need to explain more because you already know which category you can belong to. I have faith in those who work for change, who have faith in both themselves and those around them. They are the souls that have a firm belief in God.
I read a comment somewhere on a lighter mode that a guy entering God's store asked God, "What do you sell?" "Whatever your heart desires," God responded quickly. "I desire success and pleasure," stated the man eagerly. "I only sell seeds, not fruits," God laughed and replied. We enter this world with an empty mind. Our surroundings, our circumstances, our body and mental health, our good actions in this life, and our inner soul's strength determine who we will be. Professional study has taught me that the first five years of a child's life are critical for growth. If appropriate vocabulary stimulation is provided, a child can acquire up to 20 different languages and 30 million words. As a result, comprehension is gained during this time. It is our responsibility as parents to teach our children how to satisfy their souls in the greatest way possible.
I recently met a 28-year-old woman who has been married for four years and is a very intelligent and talented woman. She recently worked for a well-known international firm. Her mother had also brought her to me before she got married to train her on getting married and how to be focused in life. This girl was the only child of her parents, and she was raised in such a way that her every request was granted. She was naturally stubborn and arrogant. She never compromised on anything. I gave her advice prior to her marriage that she needed to be adaptable if she wanted to get married since she would not feel at home in a new household. Fortunately, she had a husband who was very understanding of her obstinate temperament and helped her come around. After seeing her other friends, they decided to start a family as well. Unfortunately, they were unable to get conceived. She turned around to know why it couldn't be done. They underwent numerous treatments, but none was successful.
Her body went through several changes and hormonal imbalances as a result of numerous treatments. Her personality had brought her to the point where she began to have suicidal ideas. Whenever these thoughts entered her head, she would become anxious, and if she didn't take medication, her anxiety would persist. When she arrived to meet me, she experienced a panic attack. I never saw an intelligent child who is now an educated adult or a young person go through such struggles. I believe that children who have physical, sensory, or hearing impairments are superior to us average people. They don't hold themselves to such high expectations. They make the most of what they have and attempt to live their lives to the fullest. They are the most wonderful and cheerful souls.
I told this woman the stories of my experiences with special kids. Her hearing-impaired cousin-brother has made a great success in life. He earned his bachelor's and master's degrees through the regular educational system. She has personally witnessed his development. I had a lengthy conversation with her and asked her to address each issue one at a time. I advised her to seek medical ayurvedic treatment to balance her hormones and gave her a copy of my book - "Spreading Positivity." I simply instructed her to read a chapter anytime when she feels down. I told her that she would experience enthusiasm in all of my articles because my articles have the learning that I have received from special kids' enthusiasm. She began doing as I instructed. It's been two months since she last spoke to me. Recently, when I asked her how she was doing, she replied, "I'm doing a lot better and I'm getting decent sleep. I feel absolutely certain that I will heal and that will be as quickly as possible."
Today, we simply follow the current of time. We sacrifice everything for our children, but we never consider the long-term effects of their ingrained intransigence. We raise people with such insatiable souls that they are never happy with what they have. They have no self-satisfaction, never want to compromise, and are constantly comparing themselves to others. Where are we heading to? In today's fast-paced society, we often overlook the value of raising children and the fact that true happiness cannot be bought with money or fame. Souls who believe in God and their so-called powerful energy are happy and satisfied even without anything.
