|| Perception of Intelligence & Wisdom ||
We humans are born into this universe with the ability to think. You can think with both your mind and your heart. Those that think with their minds do well in education and are considered intellectual, and they do well financially, professionally, and practically. People who think with their hearts are wise, believe in emotionally expanding and maintaining connections, and are spiritually and socially connected. In general, we see that those who are intellectual may not be wise, and those who are wise may not be intelligent. Rarely do you find intelligence and wisdom in the same individual, and when you do, they are leaders who believe in kindness and know how to balance spiritual, professional, practical, and emotional aspects of life. The perception of intelligence and wisdom is very important, but if you understand them, they are the best methods to accomplish success and advancement in life, as well as the best way to make this universe more beautiful since they create a lot of positivity.
Lord Krishna is the best role model for all of us because he was intelligent and had wise thinking to make a change in the universe. He very well knew how to kill devils with intelligence and also, with wise thinking, how to make those devils turn into good human beings. The wise Lord Krishna narrated his entire life lessons in the form of the Bhagawat Geeta so that they would live on in people's minds and hearts forever. He clearly narrated that intelligence is fruitful only if used wisely. Lord Krishna has explained that when a child first learns to walk, they may stumble and then recover, but we parents should be happy because we are teaching our children to view walking as a positive experience that leads to advancement rather than delaying our understanding of the true nature of intelligence and wisdom.
We will be able to help our children positively if we and our children begin to look at things differently and with optimism. It is neither easy nor automatic to acquire wisdom. It's a lifelong process that entails both learning from your own mistakes and the advice of others you respect, as well as making mistakes and taking advice from them. The process by which you acquire knowledge and abilities, as well as your capacity to communicate with others, are all aspects of intelligence. However, wisdom goes beyond mere knowledge and also incorporates judgement and experience. Knowing that facts is essential, but not the only thing that should be used to guide your judgments, is wisdom. Realizing that people, relationships, and doing good for others are important and should always be taken into account in all of your decisions and interactions. Encourage your youngster to grow in both knowledge and wisdom.
I believe that without a supporting quality like kindness, intelligence on its own is pointless. History demonstrates that using intelligence for the oppression or misery of others may be very destructive. If you don't have the knowledge to know how to use your intelligence, it's at best useless and at worst deadly. That said, society would not develop very much without intellect, particularly given that, in the broad scheme of things, our civilization as a whole does not have a whole lot going for it other than intelligence. Like most things in life, there needs to be a balance—a balance of intelligence and wisdom.
I think logic and wisdom are more beneficial for both individuals and society. Many clever people lack wisdom, kindness, empathy, and the capacity to draw lessons from the past or from experience. There is no doubt that some very bright people have started some of the biggest tragedies and destructive initiatives known to man, such as wars, authoritarian rule, the loss of personal freedom, etc. The capacity to take immediate action comes from intelligence. You can act more intelligently in the future if you have wisdom. I believe that the need for wisdom and the need to learn in ways that allow you to evaluate and genuinely value life's experiences or events are inextricably linked.
Your opinions, behaviors, attitudes, convictions, thoughts, anxieties, and perceptions are mirrored in your life. And whether or not you're conscious of it, all these factors interact to mold your perspective, your identity, and the course of your life. Knowing oneself is the beginning of all wisdom, as Aristotle once said. Lao Tzu also observed, "Knowing yourself is ultimate wisdom; knowing others is intelligence." To master oneself is the ultimate power; to master others is strength. One of the most significant connections you will ever have is with yourself. The main notion is that in order to make positive changes in your life and live on your own terms, you must first understand who you truly are. You are the beginning of a joyful and healthier life. However, you haven't completed the essential groundwork to even begin constructing the life you desire if you don't know how to look in the mirror or refuse to do so. Self-awareness is the first and most important step in living the life you want.
There is compelling scientific proof that people who are aware of who they are and how others perceive them are happier. They make wiser choices. They enjoy better interpersonal and professional connections. Children that they nurture are more developed. They are more knowledgeable, superior students who pick better vocations. They communicate better, are more creative, and have more self-assurance. People spend a lot of time trying to understand others in order to become wise, but no one takes the time to comprehend their own minds. Understanding your real wants, desires, aspirations, weaknesses, and all the other things that drive you is what it means to be self-aware. It calls for a thorough awareness of both your past and present selves. Everything is viewed in relation to one another by a wise man. Try to relate it to your past and present selves, since a wise man sees everything as related.
An intelligent person is capable of understanding what is being said. The mind of the wise man recognizes the unspoken. Intelligence leads you, while wisdom guides you. Being able to control others is a sign of strength, while being able to control yourself is a sign of ultimate power. If you understand this deeply, you can achieve the ultimate richness of life.
