Sharing is caring

Sharing and caring are two intimate words that complement each other so well. This universe exists, and we humans, along with other living creatures, also exist in this universe. However, if the actions of these two intimate words, sharing and caring, are not present, the universe cannot thrive beautifully. An observation stated by Lord Buddha in his teachings is that 'there is infinite delight in conquering and eliminating a desire rather than satisfying it,' and the second observation is that desire is greater than small pleasures. He emphasizes the divine element, divine grace, which comes from sincere self-giving—something that gives itself to others without expecting anything in return. When one has done this, a feeling of sweet warmth, comfort, intimacy, and radiance arises in the heart. This feeling embodies care and brings about a sense of delightful achievement and a path for you and every other person existing on Earth. With this, the universe will thrive with more delight. Apart from selfie and selfish desires, one needs to start considering the world of sharing and caring.

Lord Krishna, during his life journey, came across every different flavor of desire and challenges in life, and he found the way to deal with them. Since then, till today, he is with us through mythological books like Bhagavad Gita, Mahabharata, Ramayana, and many more. He shared the information of his life available through divine writers, as he did care for human survival for years to come. Though he took birth and came to this universe with different avatars of himself, his sharing of wisdom and knowledge to deal with life has been there since the time of human existence. My faith in Lord Krishna makes me feel that he is with us every moment of life in the form of air, water, and food which he created for us to survive. With his sharing-is-caring nature, he is always in us; we just have to feel it.

I met a young boy who is a double graduate and came with issues such as having a speech problem. I analyzed his voice and speech and found that they are absolutely fine. I told him to share information about his family, education, and many more aspects. I was asking questions, and he did answer them, but still, in the back of his mind, he was wondering how all these questions are related to his speech issues. Sharing information about your life, especially regarding speech and voice issues, is very important as it helps professionals understand your mindset and how you deal with issues in life. This boy was the youngest in the house, started talking late, was given total attention by the other three family members, pampered, and also had poor motor coordination. His mother was helping him with all the requirements of life, so he was totally dependent.

The young boy was very quiet and used to talk less with peers. After 12th grade, he shifted first to Goa for graduation and then to Mumbai for post-graduation. Communication demands increased, and he was not able to deal with them. His confidence in speaking English was also low, as at home they spoke in the Hindi language. So, the young boy had more speech anxiety issues than any other problems. His intelligence was very high, but his ability to deal with physical and mental issues was very poor. After analyzing his problem, he understood how sharing information helps. He also understood that too much care from parents affects individual growth in life. In today's world, the biggest issue is insecurity, and that insecurity arises because people don't share real emotions with each other, which in reality helps them care for the other person.

Lord Krishna shared the Bhagavad Gita. Many writers share information with us, but we only enjoy or understand those who help us deal with problems, feel positive, or understand the reality of life. They help us overcome the challenges of life. I salute those individuals who truly care for others. An individual's speech, education, write-up, or life story should be such that it inspires others. Making people scared, showing only crimes, or broadcasting shows involving violence, harassment, negativity, or other unnecessary issues can create a negative impact on individuals. I would request youngsters, young social media promoters, and filmmakers to share information on platforms that create a positive impact, make people feel warmth and security, and convey that you care for them.

I'm a member of the Lions Club of Juhu and also Kalagurjari, which promotes Gujarati language and cultural values. Here, we gather twice a month and share ideas with each other. Many organizations like Rotary, community organizations, and religious groups are also built on the concept of sharing and caring. Those who join such organizations are usually more flexible individuals, and they believe that by sharing and caring, life becomes more fruitful. Through the Lions Club, a small art workshop was arranged to be held on iPods at the Apple Store in BKC. There were about 40 people in the workshop, and we learned different methods of creating pictures using various tools. During the workshop, we experienced how seamlessly we could edit our images on iPad. When we were asked to edit our images I choose to brighten my smile. As I believe in spreading positivity and A simple smile has an incredible power to swiftly spread positivity and happiness. In a matter of moments, a genuine smile can transcend barriers and uplift not only the person wearing it but also those who receive its warmth. When we share our smiles with others, we create a ripple effect of positivity that can brighten even the dullest of days. So, let's remember the magic that lies in our smiles and make a conscious effort to share them generously, for in doing so, we contribute to a world that is a little brighter, a bit lighter, and filled with the shared gift of happiness.

I was really impressed by their small efforts to make their customers comfortable by sharing different features of the app. After creating pictures with different features, they told us to share them on a big screen and also asked for our feelings related to the pictures. Each individual had their own different feelings to share, and it also helped others understand what individuals can think, imagine, or describe. Many times, by sharing, you reach the heart of an individual. With a similar thought process, on August 19th, in celebration of the completion of 2 years of our clinic 'Hearing Hearts,' we have also organized activities that will help us gather information about how they feel regarding our services. Sharing those feelings will further assist us in caring more about our clients.

Dealing with special kids every day, one of the most important things I have learned is that if you share, then you care. A professional who shares accurate information and provides an appropriate diagnosis truly cares for their clients and believes in making a positive change in them. These special concerns addressed by professionals help these special kids overcome challenges and instill a lot of confidence in them, as they have someone who genuinely cares for them. This principle applies not only to our profession but is equally important in any profession — looking after your clients with the mindset that sharing is caring.
