8 Ways To Cultivate Positivity In Life....
The number 8 is a favorite for many. In Pushtimarg, Lord Krishna had male friends called Tok, Arjuna, Rishabh, Subal, Sridama, Vishal, and Bhoj—altogether, they were eight in number. These friends were his confidential companions. In the Dvapara Yuga, they were the best of friends, playing together and sharing their childhood and adolescence as peers and companions. Similarly, Radha Rani also had eight sakhis, who were the main gopis: Lalita, Vishakha, Champaklata, Chitra, Tungavidya, Indulekha, Rangadevi, and Sudevi. According to the Puranas, the Ashta Sakha and Ashta Sakhi of Radha Ji played a significant role in the beliefs and practices of various traditions. They showered immense love and care on Radha and Krishna. It is said that in the Shrinathji temple, where Lord Krishna resides, there are eight sevaks who perform kirtans for Shrinathji. The bhajans of the Ashta Chaap poets are sung during the darshan of Shrinathji. Additionally, we have also heard of Ashta Vinayak, which refers to the eight forms of Lord Ganesha. It is a pilgrimage to eight temples in Maharashtra, where the idols are considered "Swayambhu," meaning they have manifested themselves naturally. These sacred sculptures are believed to be divine and self-formed. All of these aspects symbolize the cultivation of positivity in our lives.

In Asian and Chinese cultures, the number 8 is considered auspicious, as it is associated with generating wealth. In Hindu mythology, 8 is also linked to Lord Vishnu, the preserver of the universe, who is said to have taken eight incarnations to bring change to the world. From a practical perspective, life itself aligns with the number 8. To maintain a healthy and balanced life, one should ideally divide their time into 8 hours of work, 8 hours of sleep, and 8 hours dedicated to personal well-being whether for self-growth, spending time with family, or nurturing relationships. Somehow, I found myself fascinated by the number 8. Inspired by its symbolism, I began writing articles structured in 8 paragraphs, accompanied by 8 images, all aimed at cultivating positivity. What started as a simple idea has now grown into a collection of over 250+ articles a journey that has become history.

Just like this disciplined approach helps in overcoming communication barriers, practicing self-discipline in daily life, whether in behaviour, interactions, fitness, career, or relationship brings lasting positivity.
Confidence allows us to face the world with courage, regardless of the challenges we encounter. Many hearing-impaired individuals initially struggle with communication, but those who embrace their uniqueness and practice speaking confidently are able to thrive. Take the example of a student who was initially hesitant to participate in classroom discussions due to hearing loss but, with proper training and self-belief, excelled in public speaking. Confidence transforms limitations into strengths, making us more positive in life.
Commitment is what pushes us to keep going even when things seem difficult. For instance, many parents of hearing-impaired children dedicate themselves wholeheartedly to their child's progress, attending therapy sessions regularly, learning sign language, and ensuring their child gets the best education possible.
