In Search of Truth...

In this era of scientific revolution, comparison, competition, and an artificial world how much truth really exists? Everyone living on this Earth knows that there is only one truth: there is only one divine. A God exists, and because of that, we exist. That is the truth. It is also said that those who truly want to serve the truth will surely come to know it. Truth does not belong to an individual it is global, it belongs to everyone. There is no fixed definition of truth; it cannot always be expressed in words. It just needs to be felt or lived. Every child born on this Earth from a mother’s womb is loved unconditionally by his or her mother that is the truth. She will do her best for her own child. But if some mothers now living in an artificial world believe their looks or social life are more important than their child, then that truth belongs only to them. It is a truth created and followed in the artificial world they have built through their thoughts and unnatural priorities.

Nowadays, due to social media and technology and the world becoming smaller and faster everyone on this planet knows that for every child to survive, education is very important. But still, only some receive it: some due to their parents’ dedication, some due to their own determination, and some miss out due to a lack of opportunity. Others do receive opportunities, but because of laziness or ignorance, they fail to perceive their value. Here, the truth is that education is important, but everyone has a different perception of how to live it and in that truth, they either win or lose in their own lives.

Gaurang Das Prabhu, my friend in Vrindavan while I was discussing education among kids with him shared something beautiful. He said that this year they have started a part-time school for children who roam the streets of Vrindavan, selling things or living without parents. These children now come to study in this school. They have launched this initiative under the name Soul of Vraj, where they teach them about culture, stories of gods and goddesses, especially the Bhagavad Gita, and the depth of spiritual existence. He said, “You won’t believe it these kids are doing extremely well. They narrate shlokas so efficiently and have started perceiving life very differently.” The truth is, to do anything, we need dedication from both sides the one who gives and the one who receives.

Truth is around us in everything. But nowadays, in general, we accept or act on the truth according to our convenience. Those who live with the truth, who want to serve with truth, know what needs to be done at every moment. In today’s social media world, especially among people with less exposure, where families are struggling to survive, their children are working hard for their education. With sincere support, they are achieving degrees becoming IPS officers, CAs, and more. On the other hand, some children have all the facilities and exposure, yet their minds are shrinking when it comes to education. They spend time chasing outer pleasures, and some even end up facing mental health issues. Every mind needs to be utilized in the right manner, especially for the right education. When will we understand this truth?

According to literature written about our ancestors, truth should be something that is living, moving, and expressed at each and every second in order to reach our Supreme Lord. Some people approach the Supreme Lord through love, some through power, others through consciousness, and some through truth. Literature also says that those who recognize the truth around them also understand what true consciousness is, what power is, and what love is. For them, reaching the Supreme is possible through their dedication and understanding of truth. It is said that these are the intellectual people who know the real meaning of truth and for them, truth is the point where all opposites meet and join to create unity. The recent Kumbh Mela was one such example of truth.

I read somewhere: "Maya ka das hamesha udaas, Krishna ka das sada bindass." It means that those people who are trapped in the fake reality of the materialistic world and all its comforts are far from understanding the truth of God’s existence. They are constantly surrounded by anxiety, agony, and other negative emotions. On the other hand, those who believe in the truth of God’s existence live with freedom and eternal love for God as well as for others in the form of kindness. These are the people who carry truth within themselves, a truth that is unique and beautifully expressed through their actions.

It is proven it is reality that the sun shines to make a day, the moon comes to remove darkness, and the stars shine to show light to all. They are irreplaceable. A pine tree cannot become an oak tree, and a palm tree cannot become wheat, no matter what formula we use or how much scientific revolution we achieve. This is so obvious, yet we fail to understand it. We often compare ourselves with others instead of realizing the truth. But this also helps us understand that the truth of our life is our own. We cannot compare it with our neighbours, companions, or peers. The truth of being on your own according to your own knowledge will determine whether your progress is limited or unlimited.

It has been proven over the years that truth prevails sooner or later. Not even the darkest falsehood can stop the ultimate truth. Nothing can harm your soul or your victory when truth is on your side. When an individual sees truth as weakness, hypocrisy, falsehood, or wickedness, it shows their vision is too narrow within the dimensions of human individuality. When you choose positivity in reality rather than merely thinking about your truth it helps you become conscious. It gives you clarity about who you want to become. Your mind becomes still, and truth gets a chance to be heard in the purity of silence. Work on the search for the truth in your own life you will love life!
