Don't Stress, Do Your Best....
Don't Stress, Do Your Best....
The best formula to be positive. Many times, we as individuals want to do so many things at a time that we forget our body, mind, and soul also need rest, breaks, and calmness to act efficiently. I met a lady who recently had a mild paralytic attack. Very smart, energetic, and enthusiastic. She was just around 50 and had done so many things in her life. Recently, she produced a film as well. While talking, I observed that her thought process was very hyper, and she wanted to recover from her condition as soon as possible. She told me to assure her that she could recover fully. I said, "I will try my best to help you recover, and you also need to take care, when you get tired, please stop what you are doing, take rest, and start again." Now, since the brain has already been affected once, we need to make it work efficiently with less burden. Don’t stress and do your best. She promptly replied to me, “Doc, you must be also of my age. I googled you, and you also do so many things at a time.”
I was a little shaken up. I said, “Yes, I do many things, but every action I take, I do with ease, patience, and calmness. My priorities in life are very clear. When I need to slow down, I do that.” In the fast-paced world, we sometimes forget, even though we have exposure to social media, the world is becoming smaller, and a lot of scientific revolution makes us think more and learn many things, our physical body has limitations at every step of life. Emotionally, we can bear certain things, but we all still have delicate hearts. Peer pressure and other responsibilities sometimes don’t allow us to be who we truly are. So, in this time where physical as well as mental health issues are increasing, we need to follow this best formula: don’t stress, just do your best.
Recently, we see or hear of so many young people losing their lives. Having good education, spending a lot of money for that, and then trying to recover that amount in a short time, they literally slog, do a lot of experiments with themselves to look good, to maintain figure, status, and many more things. Peer pressure just makes them flow in the rat race. But they don’t realize every individual has a different mind, body, and soul. They should do what they can do with their own potential. Like how I always mention for hearing-impaired kids digital hearing aids need to be customized to individual requirements. Over-amplification and under-application are not good. In the same way, to lead a good and normal life, one needs to do their best and not stress about the rat race, especially.
I read somewhere that whenever you have physical illness, you should not be afraid. One should not run away from it, we should face it with courage, calmness, and confidence. Many times, females, especially post-menopause, get physical pain like knee joint pain or stomach pain or may have hormonal imbalance. If they fight confidently, these cells in physical organs, as they establish themselves in the depth of being, the cells themselves will share an internal truth and delight. Those who continue with panic and pain keep growing their health issues. Those who don’t stress do their best.
Overall, if you want to cure yourself at any stage of your life, there are only two written conditions: first, you must be without fear, meaning absolutely fearless. And secondly, you must have complete faith in divine protection. Today’s scientific world has taught us to relieve pain with immediate effect. We are not ready to bear it with courage. Today’s youngsters are losing faith in the world by blindly following the Western world. The vicious cycle is moving very fast. A time will come when we might just start living on medicines rather than real natural food. Let’s become alert, understand the reality of life. Let’s learn to relieve stress and be our best.
The best part of this discussion leads me to think about hearing-impaired kids whose one physical organ, the ear, is not working but their actions with other organs become so powerful that you feel amazed at the willpower they have! We were giving hearing aids to 10 kids. They were all together and of different age groups. I was connecting them with our donor, and I said, “You all must speak now no more gestures and with these good hearing aids, you will be able to hear and speak well, so you must work on speaking.” The moment I said this, there was one boy of 5 years who snatched my hand and told me, with little gestures and a little talking, “I write and I try to talk. These other kids don’t make efforts to speak.” I was so happy to see a 5-year-old kid’s confidence. I think they just don’t stress, they do their best. We must learn from them.
I learned from them that every day we should not worry about what we don’t have. The more you think about it, the more you concentrate on the defect, the more fear you have, and the more chances you give for stress to grow in your mind. But what hearing-impaired kids taught me is, "you turn your attention and your interest elsewhere, to smile and go ahead, and you increase the best possibilities to grow yourself." Today, those energetic kids have broken all the barriers and have become independent and are living their best without any stress. When do we learn this???
As I reflect on all these experiences, I realise they align deeply with my own journey. Through my work, I have always believed in promoting safe listening habits, early intervention, and above all, spreading positivity, not by focusing on results, but by giving my best with full honesty and dedication. Whether I’m guiding a child, counselling a parent, or conducting awareness sessions, I never worry about the outcome. I truly believe that when intentions are pure and efforts are consistent, results will follow. Just like the children who inspire me every day, I try to live by this simple formula: don’t stress, just do your best.
