  Change Is Never Easy, But It Is Always Possible ... Yesterday in Mumbai, on Labh Pancham, the fifth day of Diwali, it rained unexpectedly. Many people shared their surprise, saying they had never seen rain during Diwali before. Generally, by October, the rains end and the weather transitions from monsoon to winter. Due to global warming and environmental changes, nature’s rhythm is shifting across the world. Are we truly thinking about why? From a positive lens, I felt that perhaps nature wanted us to celebrate Diwali with freshness and blessings.   Courage is like a muscle,  we strengthen it by use ... I once read that it is not the strength of the body that counts, but the strength of the spirit. And the strength of the spirit is possible only through individual courage. Since the time I was born till now, I have met, observed, and moved around with so many human beings. Perhaps in the earlier years of life, I was not mature enough to understand, but with experience, I feel there has been a major change among human beings after the pandemic. As we saw many of our loved ones affected by different health issues, we started becoming more aware of our physical health, doing exercises, following diet regimes, and maintaining disciplined food habits.  But beyond that, one more important parameter we must understand is to ignite and stay aware of our spirit, our deep consciousness. Our national leader Gandhiji used to say, “Your future totally depends on what you do today.” He also said, “It is health which is your true wealth, not gold or silver.” The reality is that we all work hard to collect silver and gold for our future security, but in doing so, we often forget how important our health is. I was talking to a housewife who spends her entire day taking care of everyone. Due to menopause and other health issues, it has become difficult for her even to walk around the house, and going out has become almost impossible. She is around 50, and at such a young age, she is withdrawing from social activities. She worked hard raising her two children, who are now doing well and earning well for themselves, but she cannot enjoy the fruits of her efforts because her legs don’t support her.
