|| Integrity Is More Valuable Than Income ||

I was reading the meaning of integrity, it says a person who works with honesty, ethics, and principles or a person who can tell the truth, on whom you can rely for everything, has integrity and when we talk about income in the sense of finance how rich or poor or middle-class person are you. In the recent fast world, only a person with more income has been given more priorities than a person with great integrity. Social media, print media, electronic media only has stories of who is billionaire or millionaire or has many cars or properties and whatnot. Do our kids who are the future for our need to learn all this? In educational books why do we still read about Gandhiji, many great leaders, and the people who were role models for us? We are so confused we don't know should we get knowledge and give knowledge from our educational books or follow the environment and social media around us. In a pandemic, we and the world have become smaller with the internet but going away from morals and values. Education of google and social media is becoming more powerful than our books of our ancestors who lay good strong base or you can say good energy of integrity for us which we are losing in the rat race of earning more income.

I believe to understand integrity we need to understand that God exists. According to today's youngsters, do they feel what is faith??? what is God??/why we need to go to the temple?? why do we need to offer food to God? A teacher was teaching spiritual education to kids and during that many questions were raised, the teacher said you have a brain which you learn in your science subject, you narrated shlokas, according to science it got registered in your brain and you narrated and expressed shloka by explaining that your brain functions but do you have a real formula for that this is the way it gets registered in your brain. If there would have been a formula then it would have got similarly registered in every brain but because of not having a formula some people say shlokas very clearly, some with confidence and some with little hesitancy, and so on. The same way God does exist but it reacts or stays with people who work with integrity, honesty, and with a clear heart. So those youngsters who want to feel or believe that God exists first need to work with integrity then learn to earn a good income.

I recently met one of my old associates, she had hearing difficulties and she knew that I can help her to solve her problem. She was not contacting me because she knew that she can't afford good hearing aids right now. and I will only suggest what is good for her. After a lot of struggle and seeing her difficulties increasing more and it affecting her health and also family. She gathered courage and she came to show me. She said I can't rely on anyone else than you. I know you will show me the right path. I saw her difficulties and I also made her understand that I can solve her all problems with hearing aids. I also told her I can solve her problem financially, her immediate reaction was, “I can earn, I can work why I should take anything free.” I said I am not giving free I will help you with all the installment facilities, still, I have that responsibility to pay the installment on time. Very rarely do you find such people who have a real sense of integrity, don't want to depend on others, believe to be honest with themselves and with others? I know God will show her the way for her real honesty and integrity. The time to change the world we need such people whom we can look up to rather than having more income but no morality.

I have also come across the people who have a lot of money but they don't help their own parents and also the people who work for them. They will spend money in the organization where their name is counted but not for the people who help them day in and day out. During my 30 years of practice, there have many incidences that I have given hearing aids on my own responsibility. I believe that we should start where we are, use whatever we have, and do whatever we can. There was a CA who got a job in Dubai, he had to arrange for him and whole his family to go to Dubai and establish. He had a hearing problem and he had to purchase hearing aids to communicate well in his new job. He came to me and we tested and found that he needs to wear good hearing aids so that he can do well. He said I don't have money as of now but once I reach Dubai I will send you money from my first pay itself. I saw his integrity and I did help him. He did send me money. After that, he did so well that he got better opportunities in Australia and he has established himself. He keeps me in his memories and sends me messages I will help people more in life as you help me in my difficult situation. His integrity and being honest sure will change so many lives.

In today's world what we are missing is warmth security being a parent, being professional, or being a good citizen of our country. Invisible God is coming to help good human beings but we are around human beings not ready to help. Every individual takes the limits of his own vision for the limits of the world. Many times my team tells me that you give people hearing aids or help on trust. Many times even clients say if we don't come back or run away with hearing aids. My reply to them is those who are in real difficulty only come to us. And if we don't show them the right path and who will show it by taking a little risk I am guiding them to be in the right direction and if I work with real integrity then even admiring that integrity also they will come back to me. The solution which I have shown them which is changing their lives itself is good enough to reciprocate. Your professionalism and integrity people do observe. Apart from people, God does observe. 

The pandemic and the difficult two years have taught us that good health is important than good wealth. However high income you have your good karmas will only help you to survive. As a professional success mantra is not how much and how fast you earn money but how well you foresee the characteristics with good integrity will create connections and the consistency of your good quality services will help you to be more competent. I feel today youngsters should learn from our ancestors, how much hard work they did, with their smart thinking and dreaming big have made our life so simpler. The new success formula is to be your greatest, love fullest and smile your brightest and this is only possible if you have great integrity in whatever you do for yourself or others.

Working with hearing-impaired kids in the right way has shown me the right direction to work with the right integrity that is helping me create to right positive energy which I can spread among you all. It is one person's effort if it gets multiplied, imagine what will happen if you love the life you live, live the life you love not to earn income but to earn integrity. Recently so many advertisements have been made that we need to create light and make Diwali special by really helping people who are in need. We spent money in malls but we don't want to give money to someone who is working hard and doing his work with honesty. We are getting mesmerized by the beautiful world which is created with money but we are forgetting to pay attention to the people who have really good hearts, hearts of integrity. The biggest joy of living is through, "loving the life you live and living the life you love."

The people with good hearts, working hard, and working with integrity deserve all the respect and gratitude from people because they hold onto their principles. It takes too much to choose courage over comfort, choosing what is right over what is fun, fast, or easy, and choosing to practice our values rather than simply professing them. Integrity comes with a lot of will and work.
