One thought has the power to change the world.

|| ONE THOUGHT HAS THE POWER

TO CHANGE THE WORLD ||

It is said - "The universe does not give what you wish for rather it gives you what you demand from your actions". As human beings, we are prone to panic, having mental health issues, being careless and showing carelessness towards nature, we have eternal growing demands of the scientific revolution and have negative thoughts. Our actions have led us to face the horror of coronavirus, natural calamities like floods, storms and many more. Discussions and debates on the extinction of animals and birds have become today's major topic. There will be a time when the universe will revert to our actions. The time has come for us to act positively about everything and start paying attention to our every action to exist in this universe. Think of being stuck in a stormy ocean. The only thing you can do is to think positively and expect it to settle down so you can reach the shore. Once while observing the ocean, I thought what if one wave stops and does not move forward then what will be its consequences. But then again, nature is flawless. No matter how difficult the situation is, it keeps on moving with a positive attitude. Why cannot we implement such a philosophy in our life?

One of the most wonderful thoughts of Lord Krishna mentioned in Bhagwat Gita is - "Just move on." Every difficult situation has a solution. We just need to be positive and move on. Positivity has always given the best possible solutions which we can implement in our actions like:

(1) Don't give importance to your wrong thoughts which don't have any value.
(2) Use your education for productive, constructive and positive thoughts.
(3) To be kind is the greatest way to grow and achieve success.
(4) All your actions can be done with prayers from your divine soul.
(5) Forget your ego. Eradicate this from your life.
(6) Start your day with new and positive thoughts.
(7) Whatever good thing you have learned in life, try to implement it in your best possible manner.
(8) Don't forget to give importance to yourself.
(9) Give blessings and wishes to one who deserves them.
(10) Only think everything is good around you.
(11) Only bow down at places where there is truth.
(12) Nurture your mind, heart and soul with humanity.
(13) Have faith in God as God has given you a beautiful life.
(14) Live the life which you deserve; prove your existence.
(15) Give respect to people who keep high values for life.
(16) Thinking to be a good human being is the highest reward that one can achieve.
(17) Give more value to love and kindness, not power.
(18) God is everywhere and is watching you so do your best.
These all thought processes given by Lord Krishna have made a great change in me and I have tried to implement these throughout my life. It's helping me to spread positivity everywhere I go. What about you all? This great thought of being positive itself generates great waves of positivity which helps us to move on.

I am on a boat cruise in the Bahamas surrounded by different communities. This made me think that this universe has so many people from different countries and different thought processes of religion, community and culture but still, they are all together on this one cruise and enjoying themselves together. I feel when our minds are relaxed and we are with people whom we are comfortable with, then we don't mind what other people are doing and their concerns. Here, everyone's managing their food which was served for everyone, like a buffet with no cribbing. Everyone is enjoying music without any specific preferences and there are so many staff working on the cruise from all around the world but they all are working together with great hospitality. People here greet each other irrespective of the country you belong to. I feel so much positivity flowing on this boat cruise and wonder why it is possible on this boat cruise but not in our so-called universe?

I have experienced a beautiful incident which happened on this boat cruise. We saw a flock of seagulls flying and decided to go and see them closely. We captured their pictures as they were so beautiful, and were flying as if they were dancing and enjoying themselves. Sometime later, a lady arrived and dropped one bun for them. The seagulls were all excited to eat the bun and tried to eat it with their beaks, but no one could break it. They screamed and shouted at each other while attempting to help one another. Unfortunately, they were not successful. They were all restless in their search for a solution. After watching them being helpless, my daughter and I decided to go close to them, pick up that bun, cut it into small tiny pieces and throw it at them. They were overjoyed. Each one took one piece and flew away happily. We were so excited to see how enthusiastically some seagulls picked up a piece of bun. The best part was that none of them fought with each other and happily accepted what they got. Read it again because there is a lot to be learned from this incident. We just felt good about being nice to them and helping them.

Life provides us with opportunities and teaches us a lot about our surroundings. We learn only 20% of what we learn in school, with the remaining 80% coming from our surroundings. My family and I were on a day trip to an island when we noticed two ladies who appeared to be Americans. I asked one of them if they knew each other. She responded, "No, we're sisters, and it's summer vacation for us. We don't get much time together, so we travel together and spend time with each other once a year." I was astounded to hear that. We then began talking about our children. One of the sisters stated that she has three sons of a certain age. The oldest son is 27 years old, the middle son is 24 years old, and the youngest son is 22 years old. She also added, "My sons and I stay together because we value relationships and having a strong family bond. I am European, and we, like you, care about our families. My children also look after me well ". At the time, I felt proud to be an Indian because we were travelling with our families and serving as role models for them. We also encountered boys and girls who were eager to take photos for our family. My family and I were discussing how well people respect our culture and values.

Given a thought, we have progressed from ancient times to the twenty-first century and beyond, but our country's cultural values have remained constant. Our forefathers established such a strong foundation that, while we lag in the science and technology revolution, the spiritual value of relationships, faith, and respect for humanity remains unchanged. There were approximately 5000 people on the boat cruise, but the majority of the people with families were elderly. We also met with the manager in charge of food management. When there was a misunderstanding between us and the person who was serving us, the manager in charge of food management came right away to resolve the situation. We asked her not to fire the person who was serving. She immediately responded, "I'm from the Philippines, and we believe to be there with our coworkers. We work as a team; regardless of how commercial the trip is because human values come first". This action by her can make you consider the idea of being positive in everything you do.

Before going on this trip, I met a girl in my clinic who had everything. She was intelligent, caring, and had a good job and a stable financial situation. She had been married for four years and wished to have a child. Despite all of the therapy, she was unable to conceive, and she began to believe that everything was difficult for her, that she was unable to concentrate on work, that she was lonely, that she had fallen into depression, that everyone was irritating to her, and that she had become completely dependent on medications. She used to be so restless that she only felt at ease after taking medicine. I talked to her about it and asked her if having a child is everything in life. You can adopt a child if you want to, or you can focus on your abilities and perform feats that people admire. As an individual, you must decide whether to use your intelligent mind to create constructive and meaningful things or to use it to create nuclear bombs or destructive things. I wish she had been here to show her people, especially the ladies who are here on a cruise away from their homes in other parts of the world, working for their families with a smile. It is our choice how we want to be in this universe.

A question: Will humans survive or perish? I believe that everyone needs to learn how to move forward in life with a positive attitude after having faith in Lord Krishna and having learned from his teachings. A ripple of optimism that I feel has been formed in my world and the world around me as a result it will grow into a large ocean of positivity. Lord Krishna, please help me to continue sharing positivity.
