"Gratitude is wealth; the complaint is poverty," Wow! What a statement was given by Doris Day, something as meaningful as "positivity is wealth; negativity may lead to poverty." It is said that gratitude is a huge thing since it makes you humble and causes you to think along the proper and positive path. Just a simple incident I recently had. As you all know, I have been blogging about positivity and people do read it since it is consistent and relevant to our daily lives. Recently, my husband and I went to eat pani puri, and we met someone I knew. I introduced them to my husband, and after a few discussions, they said we read her articles and they were really inspiring, and suddenly I saw a big smile on my husband's face, and he promptly replied, "It's God's grace." At that moment, I felt a great sense of self-satisfaction and I felt those positive vibes were making me feel more connected to my family and with our God. I felt so good in a fraction of a second that even those pani puris tasted better.

Ganpati Bappa is the god we pray to on every new occasion, whether it be a new house, a new job, a new company, or a new beginning in our lives. Ganpati Bappa has an elephant's face; he used to have a regular human face, but due to Lord Shiva's rage and relationship with Lord Parvati, he lost his head, which was replaced with an elephant's face, as everyone knows. When this incident occurred, Lord Ganpati, rather than wailing, accepted the blessings of Lord Shiva, and with his humble attitude, he received the blessing that for every occasion, every human being on this planet will pray to him first. Apart from this humbleness, when Lord Shiva commanded Lord Ganpati to undertake a parikrama of this universe, instead of doing a parikrama of earth, he chose to do a parikrama of his parents, because parents' blessings are the greatest riches in one's life, according to him. Parents provide us on this earth, and if we pay them respect in the form of gratitude, we have the greatest riches.

In today's fast-paced society, we don't have time to look at our parents. We feel burdened by them. We don't have time to sit and spend time with them. They worked so hard to get us where we are today, and we don't have time to express our gratitude. How terrible have we become? It will be really bad for us if we do not have our parents' blessings and affection. I recently met a lady who said, "You know the uncle I sent to your clinic on whom you tried hearing aids? Both the husband and wife are at home alone. That uncle recently fell down and is now in bed, and their children have arranged for care for each of them. Because the children are in the United States, they are alone here. He is also having problems hearing, and I was wondering if you could assist him." Just look at this Lord Ganesha. What they did to their parents and compared it to what we are doing. I believe that, especially after the Pandemic, one should not miss any opportunity to express gratitude to one's parents. Our parents' blessings are priceless treasures.

We spent a lot of money on the show Biz World on weddings, musical events, entertainment, and other things. When we invite a singer, choreographer, or performer, we express our gratitude for taking time out of their hectic schedules (though it may be with professional charges). Any artist feels great when their potential or skills are recognized. When they gain recognition, it motivates them to accomplish more. Despite the fact that they don't perform much labor, the artists demand appreciation. There is a significant distinction between genuine quality and work done solely to show off. I remember, one of the artists, whom we invited to one of our functions, demanded advance payment. He arrived on time and spoke for a few minutes before leaving. He claimed that he had not been given proper attention. A grateful attitude is deserved only when something is done from the heart. We are willing to spend a lot of money on those who throw tantrums and act up, but we don't have time to thank our own people at home or the individuals (especially home helpers) who go out of their way to keep us happy.

I believe that saying thank you or expressing gratitude is more than just good manners. It is one of the best ways to experience spirituality. Throughout the years, all religious writings have stated that gratitude plays a vital role in our lives. Gratitude is central to many religions, civilizations, and cultures. Every child in the universe must be taught to say "Thank you." I read somewhere that even psychologists, physicists, and philosophers are taken aback by this unusual human trait known as "Thank you." We've seen, heard, and experienced how gratitude affects our human brain and how positive thoughts provide us energy in our lives, and gratitude is a positive quality. According to research, people who express gratitude on a daily basis are human beings who are content with what they have and are devoid of emotions such as disappointment, regret, and frustration.

I always explain to my students who stammer that handicapped people often have one organ affected, whether it be the eyes, ears, legs, or brain that hasn't fully grown. You still have all of your organs, but your sole weakness is speaking with fluency, which is also affected by your psychological state. You will experience less tension and begin to enjoy what you have the minute you start giving that importance, focusing on your strong fluency, and showing gratitude for it. Many of the students whose stammering we have worked on are now excellent speakers. I always pay gratitude to the Almighty for giving me the opportunity to work with people and help them transform their life for the better.

Gratitude not only relieves stress, but also helps you heal faster, improves your sleep because it makes you feel secure because you have learned to communicate your sentiments, and boosts your self-esteem and performance because you like receiving praise from others. When you express gratitude, you become more connected to your connections, whether they are God, your parents, nature, the environment, your family, your neighborhood, or your country. Those soldiers who died without demanding gratitude from you deserve your gratitude and salute more than those who want gratitude while displaying their attitude. Individuals who are grateful to God have more faith and optimism. A daily feeling of gratitude improves one's health.

I've felt that by paying gratitude for what I have allows me to think more positively and generate high-vibrational thoughts, as well as attract high-vibrational outcomes, people, and opportunities in my life. Gratitude is one such attribute that we must embrace on a daily basis. It allows you to be open to new experiences, keeps you focused, and gives you a sense of deep connection with your deity and everything around you. I feel grateful to God for blessing me; to my parents, who are always there for me; to my education; to my family, who are always there to guide me; and to my community and country, to which I belong. I've started to feel the difference because of my attitude of gratitude. How about you?
