|| Why is clear, How is easy || When a young kid approaches a pail of boiling water, parents typically warn them, "There's hot water there; don't go there." " Why can't I go?" the kid will ask. It's a pretty straightforward notion that if you simply ask why and how to interpret, it will be much simpler. They will be eager; they won't listen; they'll still approach that boiling water and attempt to touch it, and then they will understand. A young child has an open, curious mind, but the more you force them to consider why, the simpler it is for them to understand how in the long run. It was World Thinking Day on February 22, 2023. We need to consider why and how in order to provide profound answers to any questions we may have. As an audiologist, I would add that we also need to consider why safe hearing is important. ||  Power of Words  || It is said that the power of words can move hearts and those hearts can move limbs. When words have positive power, they fill the heart with love and move the body with force. I was returning from Goa when I noticed an elderly citizen couple seated next to me. They must be between the ages of 70 and 80. It was a short flight in the afternoon. The air hostess began providing meals, and this pair, who may have Diabetes, may have taken their medications in the hopes of receiving food. Because they had pre-booked it, the husband and wife were confident they would receive it. The air hostess was serving meals, and they began handing them out to everyone, but they did not get any. The wife stood up twice to inquire, and both the husband and the wife became restless. They called the air hostess and inquired as to why we were not receiving meals. || Memories are treasure || Some people like having gold, silver, or platinum treasure. Others choose to have a treasure trove of real estate, an ideal monarch from their distant ancestors, a collection of cash, or coins, among many other things. In my opinion, the biggest treasure in life is the ability to look back on memories that you will remember forever, memories that will help you cultivate good energy, memories that will make the most unforgettable moments of your life, or memories that will make the past, present, and future the best. "Life is short, so live it," they say. Feel the rarity of love. Anger is bad; dump it. Fear is awful, but face it. Memories are lovely; one should appreciate and cherish them.
