|| MY LIFE MY AIM ||

|| MY LIFE, MY AIM ||

It's the story of an individual who can be just normal and can achieve in life whatever she or he decides to do. This lovely narration "my life my aim" I got it from one of my friend who believes in me. He said you must share your experiences of life with people, there may be someone who will get inspired by your talks and then my cousin also made me narrate my story, she said, maybe the work you have done for hearing-impaired kids will help some more kids. So today, I m going to take you to the journey of my normal simple life but, attractive and full of enthusiasm and which can be related to any normal people.

First, let me thank Krishna for that.  My mother used to always tell me that your birth as a human being in this world is because of the blessings of Krishna. Whatever you do in life thank him, as he is only going to be your guide. Krishna is always with the one who has faith in him. Whenever I used to raise a question, she nicely narrates to me, see you have one head to think, two eyes to see, nose to smell what is good and bad, two lips to speak, two hands to eat and work and two legs to travel and observe...
"We all human beings can do our best only if we use it with good heart and intentions."

"Parents are the best teachers for us". Parents play a major role in our life. Working with hearing-impaired kids I have seen how, both the parents play an equal role to educate you or nurture you, to achieve the best results. My father came to Mumbai because, he never wanted to be farmer. My mother is from a family, where she was taught how to take care of her family in any condition. We had a small house with relatives staying with us. Though my dad couldn't study, he nourished all his wishes within me. He worked hard to educate us with his family commitments and mom taught us discipline though she had to take care of the whole house. They gave us all the opportunities to explore the world.

We never had facilities in the house but, we had parent's security. They taught us to be strong and courageous. I still, remember in my 10th standard, I got my Hindi and Sanskrit outside exams, last year exam for my dance and of course as I was in a Gujarati medium so had to work hard to get admission in a good college. I had a word with my father, I asked how will I manage? He said you just enjoy your studies, you do the best you can? if you get less percentage it doesn't matter because I know how much effort u have put in? This taught me How a comfort zone and security from parents make a lot of difference.

I  passed my 10th and then my12th. From childhood, there was a dream to become a doctor. but due to 0,1 percent less in 10th, I lost admission from one of the good colleges. So I got admission to college where the study culture was different. In 12th, I got less percentage in compared to medical seats in Mumbai, I was so attached to my parents, that I never wanted to leave them and go. Also to stay out of Mumbai for medical college was expensive. Looking at my parent's struggle to make three of us study I never wanted to increase their burden, so decided to do something different but related to the medical field.

My journey throughout has been totally on destiny, it took many twists and turns but today, I m happy with the results. Submitted forms in 18 colleges like homeopathy, physiotherapy, pharmacy, engineering, and many more. This reminds me of incidence in earlier days where "parrot used to pick our future chit sitting next to astrologist and it was predicted that I will be a doctor" but the situations were showing different ways. My grandfather told me, it doesn't matter, whichever field you go, work hard, and make your own path.
"Passion to work for others will make you do wonders..."

Blessings from my parents and grandparents taught me manners in talking to people with whom we work, morals should be clean what you are working for, having respect in relations, maintaining the individual character and work with dignity, ethics, and principals. Trust your own instincts and whatever you do, do with love and compassion. I think these basics of life have made me what I m today.

From the journey of not knowing what is audiology and speech-language pathology till today a satisfying journey of 29 years of practice and having a passion to work for hearing handicap kids who have hope from me that I will do something for them to have a better life, to live in normal society encourages me to learn some new every day,  Finally I found the aim of my life to make it more meaningful.

My journey had a lot of turns and twists many more experiences to share but somehow it has come on track as I feel if every normal human being starts understanding the real purpose of human life on earth and develops positivity in looking at obstacles with different perspectives and take challenges than nothing is difficult. All difficulties has hidden opportunities and all problems come with solutions.
"The word impossible says I m possible"

Today all youngsters feel pressure in education, dealing with life, maintaining relationships, and having patience in achieving something. I think my journey helps you to see life in different ways.
