Today it's our Krishna's birthday and I dedicate this blog to him. Whenever there is Adharma on this earth, God has always made his presence, at this moment we need him to appear as this pandemic situation has created panic and havoc all around the world. So many people lost their lives and a lot of medical and economical crisis has arisen and in a way, a lot of anxiety depression and insecurity has created negative thoughts within an individual's life, and to survive, we all need to break this negative circle of life and fight against by keeping faith in Krishna. Like his moving Sudarshan Chakra for dharma we need to run the circle of positivity around us. This is the only possible if today's youth from all around the world will start moving forward with a common passion for making a change for our better future.
Now we will relate pure mythology of Krishna. As a youth Krishna did a lot of Kridas, he had a passion for cow and loved to spend time with his friends gvals and gopis, he also made and had love of his life Radha. He gave respect to his parents along with the people who were close to him and also to people in need. All of these kridas were selfless and pure. There was no pressure of "life, commitments and competition and comparison". Why can't, we young hearts can start thinking like Krishna. The most valuable thing taught by Krishna is "To be Humble". Enjoy the way it comes, fight for your own rights and also for society, enjoy each and every moment of life with a smiling face, keep expectations low from others.
Another teaching done by Krishna was when Arjuna his friend needed his support to fight for dharma. He kept him in the forefront and taught him lessons to live a life and also to sacrifice his life for his own society. Today's youth especially, talking about the soldiers who are fighting battles, for our country in a similar way the youth of our country from different professions should also come forward with enthusiasm to fight, work and to represent our country at any global platform as a form of soldiers of our country. This year's theme for international youth day is "Youth Engagement For Global Action" which coincides with our Krishna s birthday.
Krishna also taught to overcome challenges or win over the devils which exist in our society. The young generation are running fast with pace and are getting into a lot of bad habits, one needs to overcome that. Our body soul and heart need cleansing of our negative and bad thoughts and need to start going in a direction where only progress is there. We see morning comes with freshness, afternoon comes with a lot of heat and hard work than evening again makes it relax and easy and the night gets peace of mind the same way various phase of life comes, we just need to enjoy the best throughout the day and the same way the life.
Our country has a huge story of mythology, the mythology of Krishna, and many other Gods and Goddess. There are so many Temples, Churches, and Mosque where we all go with only one religion that is "FAITH". All these stories of god and goddess, the rituals of India, and culture represent that we have to kill all the devils present in our body and look for the best to make this universe better. Writers, Poets and many Spiritual Personalities have worked hard to make a change, now it's our turn to make a change. We humans just need food, air, and water to survive but somehow we are running to get what? We only don't know? the time has come, to invent ourselves and find a concrete way of leading life like our Krishna. who only move forward in life with a positive attitude and never looked back.
I remember one girl entered in the profession as a drama artist at age of 21 and generally majority drama artist feels smoking makes their voice husky (which I as voice therapist never understood how?) anyways, so she had got into the habit of smoking, she used to have 20 cigarettes a day and then she got married in a year with a drama artist. Their marriage didn't last for 6 months and they separated due to that she landed up having 40 cigarettes a day and within sometime she lost her voice. She had to move out of this profession within a short span of time. I don't know why today's youth feel, "there is a magic in everything", they want everything fast, but they should know that even god Krishna had to fight the battle in Mahabharata for so many days and there was no magic in winning over dharma. Today even our soldiers who fight for our country have to wait for the right time. Hasty decisions may take away the lives of so many people. Passion and Patience are missing in today's youth which needs to get change.
I deal with a lot of youth working in different organizations they are so technosavy, they are so creative and they are so fast in everything, but at the same time they give up so easily. Patience and Persistence are also equally important. Earning money fast is good but, it will only give short term benefits, on the other hand, if you are consistent in giving quality services you get the best and long term benefits. Thinking that every problem has a solution and every aspect of life has different directions and it is who we have to choose what is good and what is bad for us. You should not change as per people's expectations rather do such things that other people like to change the way you are. Being young is not by age but being young is how beautifully you develop your own skills and potential.
I know one very young deaf student she came to us and she had a passion to be a chef. She came with so much enthusiasm to our organization and requested for help so that she can go for regular cooking classes to learn and work for the best five-star hotel. Today she is one of the five-star hotel chefs and is doing extremely well. Krishna says always do what you enjoy. Today's education system has those options. Pandemic has taught us to go for digitization which youths are master in. Youth knows how to get exposure to the world, they just need to focus along with passion. We are born in a country which is rich in culture and the value of humanity lets take it as our best and do our best for ourselves and for our country to be recognized rich at a global level. To build a beautiful world again, our youth needs to work with their ultimate passion to make the change.
