|| WE NEED POWER OF ENERGY TO EMPOWER ||

When we look at the rays of the sun, it has the definition of spreading the rays for the earth and living things to survive and to give light. If one day, light is not there we are shattered and start feeling dull. We look at the sun as a sign of hope, or you can say the light of hope. It's the duty of the sun to give light. The same way we humans have a duty to give the energy of hope to other human beings. In dark, if you light one small lamp of hope the whole situation changes. In difficult times, where will still continue having a difficult time, the best way to overcome is that we need to empower each other. Our energy together will spread like the sun on this earth.

Our adorable Krishna has thought us how the light of hope can change the world.  Every human being has some duties to fulfill even it means God. If you read Bhagwad Geeta or Mahabharata, every mythological story Krishna has been a guide of hope. Though he was a God he took education from teachers, he gave respect to all the gurus who were teaching Kauravas and Pandava. According to Krishna, one should learn education to fulfill the duties when it's needed. You educate to be alert and observe and understand the world around you better. Though Arjuna knew how to fight but to fight the battle, he needed Krishna as a Sarathi to guide him.  Even though you are educated you should also learn how to implement it in a really effective way. The same way to uplift the other person, you need to be a real guide which will totally empower that person.

Peepal tree or banyan tree or talk about any plant or tree, they only grow in one direction. Their energy is only used to grow towards the sky. It's we human being don't nourish them well and they fall and sometimes for our benefit, we cut them. Something similar we do with human beings as well? But if we take good care of trees than it gives us good fruits and it will also save us from GLOBAL WARMING. Think about nourishing the human mind and imagine what will happen????

I have a helper at my house and she was not well for a long time. No one in her family was there to take care of her, so we decided to help her. I was visiting the doctor with her regularly. In between, she went to her sister's house to stay and take rest. So she came to visit the doctor from there and I met her at the doctor's place. In a hurry, she forgot to carry her X-RAY reports. That day doctor shouted at her and said you took an appointment, madam also came for you and how can you forget. I requested the doctor not to shout and told if she would have been so intelligent she would have not worked at my place. She has her limitations. I'm ok with coming again. We need to react maturely with whom we deal to help as there learning may not be as good as you. To understand small things only decides how much maturity you execute in doing work. We need to give respect to people who work at our place and we should know their limitations as well.

There are many myths and misconceptions about dealing with deaf kids. Every child hearing is different. Like spectacles, they need digital hearing aids to their requirement. Hearing aids will help them to understand speech in a noisy environment. The better they get the input of good speech, the better they will speak. We get many donors who tell us that you get hearing aids at a cheaper rate and also you can give it many people. We say that by just giving hope of little hearing what they will achieve? But if we give them hearing aids to their requirements than that will change their total education as well as life. So many times we reject donations. It's difficult to do the right thing but now seeing good results of kids over the years and understanding the technology is helping them, many donors have come forward to help and we could help till now 1100 kids and out of them, we could integrate 25% into the normal education system. So to do right is hard but not difficult.

If you really empower the person, liability reduces. Today all the deaf kids who have been helped in the right manner they all have become Engineer, Interior designer and many more into a different profession. Today they all are earning for their families and are a really strong part of society. One of our deaf people is an architect and she has been awarded many times for her excellent work. Similarly, if we all decide to empower each other, how much liability will reduce? Our energy and thought process and emotions should not be used for sympathy towards that person, rather should be used to empower that person so he or she doesn't have to ask for help again.

How parent's security and encouragement for a child makes him/her grow confidently, the same way helping human beings gives hope and security of your emotions and empowers the human who is in need. We all need to make a change in the real thought process. We always tell the parents whom we give hearing aids that today we are helping you with these hearing aids are costing around Rs.30,000 and this will work for 5 to 7 years. Start saving money from now so next time you should be able to buy from your own money for your own children. Next time we may not be there to help you. I remember one deaf kid. We helped her once the next time she came with Rs. 30,000 and she asked me to give hearing aids as she had started working somewhere. So she saved that money to buy. We only have to create that intention as it should not become a habit for them to ask always.

Revolution in doing social service is also needed. As, we do many times waste our money, energy, and power and still cannot empower the society at large. We need the power to say no to wrong things and we need the power to empower the right things. We need a combined effort to uplift each other. We may not help everyone together but helping real ones will help people at a larger scale. Let's give the power of energy to make real human empowerment. Human empowerment will create strong mental health and that will help to grow this world more beautifully.
