Be Human...
Be Human...
I just read “Being human is given,” which is so true. If we were not human, then we could be creatures like animals, birds, and many more who are still surviving in this world. We are different, as God has given birth to us as humans who can think. It is also said, "Being human is given, but keeping humanity is a choice," and that is the most dangerous thing happening in the world. As revolutions are happening with the human brain everywhere, the human nature of understanding is reducing, and desires, crimes, broken relationships, and many more unwanted, irrelevant actions are increasing. Recently, I was discussing with a parent whose daughter just took a divorce after one month of marriage. A lot of money was spent on the wedding it was lost but the daughter returning home and having an emotional breakdown is very difficult for parents to accept. Apart from that, these days youngsters feel breaking a relationship is not a big thing, and it’s okay to depart if you are not comfortable.
To keep any relationship be it with parents, children, or spouse the first and most important thing which is taught by Lord Krishna is that we need to be human first. We need to respect other humans who are your loved ones and also understand the deep meaning of humanity. I have read so many books written by and for Lord Krishan all of them say whether it's a good human, be human with them, and if it’s a devil, still be human with them. So many devils came to kill Lord Krishna, but still, he gave one chance to them to change, and even after that, when they decided to be devils, he punished them and gave them relief from all their actions which they did against humanity. If God can forgive, then why can’t we? We are just simple human beings who just need to be human.
It is written that every human being in this universe has the capacity to bring positive transformation, which also includes special children like the physically handicapped, mentally challenged, and hearing-impaired people. And this is also proven, and I have narrated many stories about their positivity in many of my articles on positivity. They don’t transform the society in which they live, but they try to learn to be their best to survive in society through their positive actions. Every human has the right to sufficient food, to breathe fresh air, to receive useful education, employment, medical treatment for good health, housing, family, and a better quality of life but it cannot be achieved unless you are a good human. One must understand that.
We also have the right to chart out our best future. But if we really want to achieve that, we all humans need to work together to walk the path of active non-violence, resist all forms of discrimination, and we need to reinforce humanity at every step of our life. It is also said that a human being achieves in life whatever he or she believes is their happiness. Happiness will only face obstacles if a human develops physical pain or mental suffering. Physical pain is described as sickness, injury, hunger, and thirst which a human feels in the body. Mental suffering can be negative emotions like tension, fear, anger, and jealousy which are psychological perceptions of a human.
We have also seen that for humans, physical pain gives rise to mental suffering, and mental suffering can result in physical pain. Nowadays, with changes in society and developed systems of science and technology, we can reduce the physical pain of human beings. Mental suffering is also possible to reduce if we humans start understanding the meaning of life and at least make an effort to be human. Real development of intellectual humans is only possible when we acquire real knowledge, invent new things but in a positive direction with new sensible thoughts and improved understanding from our own roots. And the first thing is to learn to be human.
Recently, I met a parent who came to my clinic. Her child had stammering issues. The child was 6 years old and very intelligent. I was talking to the child and asking his name. Promptly, the mother said, “He really finds it difficult to say his name,” and explained that he has learned to say his name with a different pronunciation. Then the child tried to say his name again. She said, “See, he really has difficulty saying his name.” And then the child said, “It’s very difficult; now I can’t say it.” I told the mother, “Wait, I am talking to him. Let him try, and if he fails, I will help.” Now, please understand and read again this is what we all are missing. We have lost patience, we don’t have time to listen to anyone, we want to move fast and don’t want to allow another person to try. Where are we humans going like this?
We have seen transformation in the universe in natural ways, like ice to water and water to ice due to dramatic climate changes. Childhood to adulthood is possible, but adulthood to childhood is not. We have seen a plant grow into a tree, but dramatic changes may bring the tree down back to a plant or cause it to die or not survive. Imagine, if we stop being human, then our progress will not remain static or dynamic, our downfall is confirmed. And if we leave behind what it means to be human, we humans may not exist in this universe at all.
In a world that is constantly evolving, let us not forget the one thing that should remain unchanged is our humanity. Technology may advance, lifestyles may change, but kindness, empathy, and understanding are timeless values that define who we truly are. Let us pause, reflect, and make a conscious choice every day to be more human, not just in form, but in action and heart. Because at the end of it all, no matter our struggles, titles, or achievements, the legacy that truly matters is how deeply we touched lives with our humanity. If this resonates with you, take a moment to share this message because the world doesn’t just need more humans, it needs more human with humanity.
